What happens when you call

Call and tell Alisha what has happened and your postcode. The phone is answered day and night, including weekends and bank holidays. We check that your address is in our area and pass the job to the emergency locksmith nearest to you. He is usually with you in 10–15 minutes, and you get the exact time as soon as he accepts the job.

At the door, the locksmith tries non-destructive entry first; most doors open without damage. If a lock has to be drilled, repaired or replaced, you hear the work and the price before anything starts. We work on house, flat and shop doors only: no car keys and no key cutting.

Emergency locksmith, answered

Are you really a 24 hour locksmith?

Yes. The phone is answered 24 hours a day, every day, including nights, weekends and bank holidays. We tell you straight away whether a locksmith can reach your postcode; if nobody can get to you quickly, we say so instead of leaving you waiting.

How fast can an emergency locksmith get to me?

Usually 10–15 minutes. It depends on where the nearest free locksmith is and on traffic; you get the exact time once a locksmith accepts your job, and he calls you when he is at the door.

How much does an emergency locksmith cost?

Lockouts start from £40 and new locks from £30. The final price depends on the door and the lock and is confirmed on site before work starts. There is no call-out fee: if we can't open the door, there is nothing to pay.

Which areas do you cover?

West and Central London: Marylebone, Paddington, Kensington, Notting Hill, Hammersmith, Chelsea, Fulham, Battersea, Westminster, Camden, St John's Wood and the postcodes listed on this page. Call with your postcode if you are not sure.

Do you work on cars?

No. Our emergency service is for home and business door locks. For car keys or vehicle locks, contact an auto locksmith.

Can I ask about a price before booking?

Yes. Ask Alisha for a colleague to review your request. The final price for new work is agreed on site; we do not promise a fixed quotation for work we have not assessed.
